Holiday home owners can advertise their property free of charge, managing their own enquiries with no commissions to pay. The majority of the properties on the books are in Europe, with Spain being at the top.
For the advertiser, first you need to register for a My Travel Account (free). This membership gives you access to many useful travel features and interactive areas. Through this account you can create a full page advert with all the basics.
The background is a little uninspiring but all the facts about your property are there. Photographs at the top, the description and a Google map in the middle, followed by travel info and tick and cross boxes at the bottom. Contact is made directly with the owner via a “contact advertiser” button at the bottom and if you have more than one property you can link to your others with a drop down button; you can also link to your own website too. Holidaymakers arriving at traveleye.com can search using a number of parameters – location, holiday theme, keyword and availability. After these are chosen a summary page appears showing the properties available with a “view details” button taking the visitor to the advert. If the owner has their own website a link to this from the advert is provided.
